First time there and the pumpkin pie was almost raw. Completely inedible. The only reason I didn't leave one star was that the bread was good. $9 in the garbage.
This is a awesome spot to stop and get some treats. Food is so so good. Cash or check only. Highly recommended!
Enjoy a small slice of Amish life at this bakery built in the basement of an old farm house. In Wood fired ovens, breads donuts and other delights are baked under glowing gas lanterns. The sales shop its self is small, but they pack a lot of goodness into this small space. Make sure you don't forget to grab some of their maple syrup! Word of advice, you better get there 30 minutes to an HOUR before they open as lines can get quiet long! And of course with no electricity, bring your cash!
This is an awesome Amish Bakery. You can watch as they work in their kitchen. Everything is freshly made. Their breads, pies, cookies, doughnuts, pretzels, and other baked goods are out of this world! I guarantee you will love the atmosphere, and the food.
We waited over an hour on a Saturday but it was worth it. The baked goods were great and priced right. It was also great sering how things would have been done before electricity was used. However, can't imagine how they can stand to work in the heat of the summer with no air conditioning.
